It's one of Australia's fastest-growing tech businesses, transforming the seafood supply chain. As a Senior Product Designer on the Vool Studio team, I spent 2 years and 6 months contributing to the product design process.

Color & Typography
The Brand Design was already in place when I joined the project, so my focus was on ensuring it was seamlessly integrated throughout the entire ShoreTrade interface. The vibrant coral color defines ShoreTrade’s visual identity, embodying the spirit of the seafood industry. This sea-inspired hue runs through the design, making everything from buttons to interactive elements both eye-catching and easy to recognize. The clean typography, with Basis Grotesque Pro for content and Media Sans for headings, creates a modern, balanced layout that enhances readability. Custom icons and illustrations, inspired by the colors of the sea, add a distinctive touch, making navigation both engaging and unique.

Overcoming challenges in page consistency and user resonance, the app's design journey included creating user flows, UI redesigns, and a custom design system. The impactful results, including a 1220% growth, led to ShoreTrade's recognition in the Deloitte #TechFast50au awards 2020, highlighting the success of the redesigned Buyer App and the platform's continuous evolution.
